RecceGrid is a rally operations platform operated by Sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību “Consulting Art”. In these Terms, “RecceGrid”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator, and “you” refers to the person or organization using the service.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing a plan or otherwise using RecceGrid, you agree to these Terms. If you use RecceGrid for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement. A minor may use RecceGrid only with the permission and supervision required by applicable law.
2. Accounts and organization roles
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Organization owners and administrators control memberships, invitations, roles and access to organization data. They must assign only the permissions each person needs and remove access when it is no longer appropriate.
3. Organizer responsibilities
RecceGrid provides planning, communication, route, timing and event-operation tools. The organizer remains responsible for the event, including permits, sporting rules, route approval, road access, marshals, participant instructions, medical and emergency arrangements, spectator areas and compliance with law.
RecceGrid is not a motorsport governing body, emergency service or substitute for qualified officials. An organizer must independently verify published routes, controls, schedules, safety information and results before relying on or sharing them.
4. Routes, location data and safety
Recorded routes, GPS positions, speeds, warnings, checkpoints, timing splits and calculated results may be affected by device accuracy, positioning coverage, battery state, connectivity, map data and user configuration. They may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect.
Do not use RecceGrid as the sole navigation, safety, emergency-response or official timing system. Do not interact with a device while driving. Follow road laws, event regulations, on-site signs and instructions from officials and emergency services at all times.
5. Invitations, participants and guests
Invitations may be limited to the named recipient, email address, organization, role or event and may expire. You must not forward a restricted invitation or use an invitation intended for another person.
Participants and guests must follow organizer instructions and access only the routes, zones and information made available to them. Event information can change; confirm critical details with the organizer.
6. Your content and imported data
You keep ownership of content you upload or record. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, adapt and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve RecceGrid and provide the features you select. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide it.
Some rally records, images, profiles, results or links may come from public or third-party sources. Rights remain with their respective owners. Imported data may be incomplete or outdated and must be verified against the authoritative source before official use.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use RecceGrid unlawfully or to endanger people; misrepresent identity or authority; access another account or restricted data; upload malicious code; interfere with the service; evade limits or security controls; conduct unauthorized automated extraction; or publish content that infringes rights, reveals protected information or is abusive, fraudulent or misleading.
You may perform reasonable security testing only with our prior written permission and within the agreed scope.
8. Plans, billing and taxes
Features, limits, prices, billing periods and any trial terms are shown when you select a plan or place an order. The purchasing organization authorizes the stated charges and is responsible for applicable taxes, payment details and authorized use of its plan.
Unless the offer says otherwise, cancelling a recurring plan stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period. Mandatory refund and cancellation rights available under applicable consumer law are not restricted by these Terms.
9. Third-party services
RecceGrid may rely on or link to identity, mapping, infrastructure, payment, email, storage and rally-data services supplied by third parties. Their own terms and privacy notices may apply. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control, but this does not limit responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Personal data and communications
We process account, organization, device, route, location and usage data to provide and protect RecceGrid, meet legal obligations and communicate about the service. Location data can be sensitive; collect and share it only when you have an appropriate legal basis and have provided required notices.
An organization may separately determine why participant or staff data is collected and be responsible for its own notices, permissions, retention and requests under applicable data-protection law.
11. Availability, changes and suspension
We aim to keep RecceGrid available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, network conditions, external providers, safety incidents and events beyond reasonable control may affect availability. Features may evolve, and preview or beta features may be changed or withdrawn.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect people, data or the service; investigate misuse; comply with law; address non-payment; or prevent material harm. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12. Termination and data export
You may stop using RecceGrid at any time and may cancel a plan according to its billing terms. We may terminate access for a material or repeated breach, unlawful use or an unresolved suspension reason.
Before closing an account or workspace, export information you need to keep. We may retain or delete data according to applicable law, legitimate security and audit needs, agreed retention settings and any separate data-processing agreement.
13. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RecceGrid is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that route, location, speed, timing, result or safety information is error-free, current or suitable for official or safety-critical use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability arising from RecceGrid will not exceed the amount paid for the affected service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing law, disputes and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules, disputes are submitted to the courts of Riga, Latvia. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
We may update these Terms as RecceGrid or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version and update the effective date. If a material change requires notice or consent, we will provide it through RecceGrid or another appropriate channel.
